Assistant Coach for Baseball
Coe College seeks qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Coach for Baseball. This position is to support the total academic program of the College by implementing the programs, policies, and services approved by the Baseball Head Coach that will contribute to the education and welfare of students through athletics. The Assistant Coach shall conduct these efforts within the spirit, policies, and rules of Coe College, the American Rivers Conference, and the NCAA III in a manner that will further the athletic, wellness, personal, social, and
academic development of Coe student-athletes.
Work Schedule: full-time, .83 FTE for 10 months
Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and supervising practices and games
- Promote the sport, athletics department, and Coe College
- Recruit vigorously prospective high school and college student-athletes
- Duties as assigned from head coach or associate head coach
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 1-3 years of previous coaching experience is preferred.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States as visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
- Successful completion of a background and driver check in accordance with Coe College policy.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Weekend and evening hours required
- Travel required
- Occasional lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs
- Frequent twist, bend, stoop and climb
