The Part-Time Assistant Coach plays a vital role in supporting the head coach in all aspects of team development and operations. Responsibilities include assisting with training sessions, game preparation, and in-game strategy, as well as scouting, recruiting, and player development. The coach will help foster a competitive and positive team culture while ensuring student-athletes meet academic and athletic expectations. Additional duties may involve video analysis, travel coordination, and compliance with NCAA and conference regulations. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and a passion for developing student-athletes both on and off the field.

- Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
- Coaching & Player Development – Assist in planning and leading training sessions, game strategies, and individual player development.
- Recruiting & Scouting – Identify, evaluate, and communicate with prospective student-athletes in compliance with NCAA regulations.
- Game & Practice Preparation – Support opponent scouting, video analysis, and team preparation for practices and competitions.
- Administrative Support – Assist with travel logistics, equipment management, and ensuring compliance with NCAA and conference rules.
- Student-Athlete Support & Team Culture – Promote academic success, leadership, and a positive team environment on and off the field.

Experience:
- Prior coaching and competitive experience is requested, with collegiate coaching experience preferred.
