| Position Summary |
The Assistant Director of Marketing and Media works directly with marketing, communications, and applicable sport programs to create high-end graphic design and video projects utilized in recruitment and promotion of student-athletes.

| Essential Duties |
- Work collaboratively with the Office of Athletic Communications to design marketing materials for the athletic department, including but not limited to schedule posters, infographics, social media graphics, and advertising graphics.
- Assist with overarching sports marketing, communication, public relation campaigns, and sales campaigns.
- Create enhanced videos highlighting all sports, working with professional staff on all aspects of video production, including but not limited to ESPN+ live streams and highlight packages.
- Assist with the creation of marketing, communication, and creative content for social media to engage with fans.
- Develop new ways to promote La Salle’s varsity athletic programs while taking advantage of emerging technology, using current graphic trends and techniques within the sports design industry as a guideline.
- Communicate and cooperate with Associate Athletic Director on a regular basis on all developments with public relations potential.
- Respond appropriately with the media so as not to demean student-athletes, the University, the Conference and all parties connected.
- Immediately report anything controversial that may attract media attention to a supervisor.
- Remain knowledgeable and in full compliance with the rules, regulations, and philosophies of the NCAA, various conference affiliations, and La Salle University.
- Immediately report any potential violations, eligibility problems, rules infractions, or disciplinary action of student-athletes immediately to a supervisor.
- Support La Salle University’s educational philosophy and the goals of the Athletic Department as a loyal, energetic, and highly visible University representative.
- Accept no speaking engagement for money, endorsements, or any other outside employment at any time without prior approval of your supervisor and/or the Athletic Director (or their designee).

- Work with the Office of Athletic Communications to update creative content for GoExplorers.com.
- Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

| Required Qualifications |
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and InDesign.
- Successful background check clearances including a PA Criminal Records Check, FBI Fingerprinting Check, and PA Child Abuse Clearance Check.
- Knowledge of and commitment to the mission of La Salle University.

- Must have flexibility and be able to sustain long work hours including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.
- Position may require some travel.
- Ability to drive oneself and/or find other personal transportation to offsite game or event locations for set up may be necessary.
- Ability to lift 25 pounds of equipment.
