Job Summary

comparing our setup with that of other college and professional venues to identify potential improvements. - Before each event, the individual will be responsible for loading content onto the system and ensuring that audio levels are correct; adjustments should be made as necessary to maintain high-quality standards.
- On game days, the individual will supervise and direct the control room staff during production. They will serve as the primary contact for any issues that arise within the control room and will direct assistance where needed. Additionally, they will provide guidance to the Technical Director (TD) regarding the event flow and make necessary changes to accommodate the pacing of the game, timing of shots, and engagement of the crowd.
Responsible for the technical design and implementation of video, audio, and communication systems in our facility and across our fiber optic connected remote venues. Oversee the maintenance of fiber networks within our system.
Work in collaboration with the Event Presentation team to create an exciting fan experience throughout all of our venues.
Collaborate with Learfield staff to ensure all sponsorship and marketing content is properly displayed on videoboards.
Help recruit, train, and supervise students and freelancers in the operation of all control room related functions.
Responsible for ensuring all equipment is up to date and periodic maintenance checks are performed with switchers, replay, router, graphics, multiviewer, and intercom systems.
Assist with the budget, forecast the emerging demands, and make recommendations for upgrades when they are needed.

Required Qualifications*
- Bachelor's degree in communications, video production, or film studies.
- Minimum of five (5) years of direct experience related to video production.
- Expert knowledge of Ross Xpression graphics system, Carbonite switcher, Evertz Dreamcatcher, fiber optic transmission, Dante audio, split 3G/2110 video routing, and SMPTE cameras. Ability to integrate scoring data with in-house databases and graphics systems.
- Troubleshoot problems and find solutions in a timely manner to minimize the disruption of events.
- Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance several projects simultaneously.
- Read and understand system drawings.
- General knowledge of various collegiate sports and how they operate.
- Ability to work nights and weekends during competitive season(s) and unplanned activities; on-call availability necessary.
