Job Description:

The head coach is responsible for the operation and management of all aspects of a Division I Acrobatics & Tumbling program. Areas of responsibility include supervision of assistant coach, practice and competition preparation, recruitment of student-athletics, student-athlete development, NCAA Compliance, and external relations.  

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience coaching acrobatics & tumbling, cheerleading, gymnastics or a related discipline.
• Knowledge of sport techniques, skills and strategies.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules.
• Ability to recruit student athletes both locally and nationally.
• Ability to use computer databases and applications.
• Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and insurability at the time of appointment and must maintain such license and insurability throughout the tenure of employment.

Additional Information:

Annual Salary: $62,360

*The hiring salary above represents the University's good faith estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany County Salary Transparency Law.
