Job Description

Position Summary: York University is seeking applicants for the position of Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach, with recruiting to begin for the Fall 2026 academic year. York University competes in the NAIA and is a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletics Conference (KCAC). The coach will report directly to the Athletic Director of the University.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Firm commitment to the mission of York University.
  • Experience coaching cross country, preferably at the collegiate level.
  • Proven ability to recruit student-athletes.
  • Ability to maintain a roster of approximately 20 athletes.
  • Commitment to representing Christian principles.
  • Ability to work within a budget outlined by the athletic department.
