Job Type: This is a full time, exempt position.
The Sports Information and Admissions Support Coordinator role is responsible for supporting niche recruiting efforts in specific programs, as well as supporting the overall University sports information department.
- Work 15 hours per week in the Admissions office to aid in the identification of interested students and in gaining their necessary contact information.
o Develop networks and contacts to build the admissions funnel.

- Work 15 hours per week in the Admissions office to aid in the identification of interested students and in gaining their necessary contact information.
o Develop networks and contacts to build the admissions funnel.
o Generate over 250 students new to the salesforce system.
- The rest of the position is in the Sports Information Office, under the direction of the Director of Sports Communications, doing the following:
o Maintaining Athletic Statistics
o Editing the Athletic website
o Press Releases
o Photography
o Home game management
o Social Media posts and monitoring
o Other duties as assigned
- Previous experience in sports information is preferred.
- BA in Journalism, Communications, Graphic Arts, Sports Management, or some other related field.
- Experience on or around sports teams, as well as statistical record keeping.
- Strong skills or background in web pages.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated to exceed expectations, with the ability to motivate others to do likewise.
- Ability to climb stairs several times throughout the workday
- Ability to speak English fluently
- Ability to us a computer keyboard
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Holds a Missouri Driver’s License
- This is an exempt position requiring 40+ hours per week, and a 12-month position with evening and weekend work as needed.
